• Simplicity and Versatility - a compact modular solution containing all data acquisition cards and associated electronics within one enclosure. Available with 48 - 3072 input capacity, the datalogger meets requirements of both large interlockings and level crossings. Compared to other systems which may require six foot high, 19 inch equipment racks, the SA-380 delivers benefits such as reduced equipment room size, costs and installation time.
• Networking and Data Access - data may be viewed in Internet Explorer with no special software required. With both dial-up and Ethernet remote access provided as standard, the SA-380 may be accessed over a telephone line, ADSL connection or a company intranet and is prepared for future upgrades of the railway communications infrastructure.
• Touchscreen LCD - data can be accessed directly on site without the need for a laptop computer or expensive specialist software.
• Data Storage - records data both internally and to a removable Compact Flash card. This duplication enables the card to be removed without interrupting datalogging.
• Safety - all input channels are opto-isolated to a minimum of 1kV.
• Reliability - has an Uninterruptible Power Supply giving up to seven hours of backup in the case of mains failure.
• Analysis - for further evaluation, data from the SA-380 interfaces directly with Balfour Beatty Rail's Asset View software. This software incorporates automatic analysis of data to produce both safety and performance alarms. Also included is a track map replay system that accurately mimics the signaller's panel for easy diagnosis of allegations and incidents.
• Cost savings - the most cost-effective datalogging solution offering ease of installation, low maintenance, integrated UPS, modem and Ethernet and effective data storage.
