Balfour Beatty Rail announces today that Magnus Jonasson has been appointed new Managing Director in Sweden and Norway. He will join the company on January 1st 2007.
Magnus is currently Director of SJ’s Fleet division a position he has held for three years and his main responsibility has been purchasing new trains and refurbishing the fleet and shunting activities besides maintenance and cleaning of all trains.
He has previously held the MD position at Alstom’s T & D business in Sweden. Magnus has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).
