Watford to Bletchley, West Coast Route Modernisation
Part of Network Rail’s modernisation of the UK’s West Coast Main Line, the Watford-Bletchley project involved the resignalling and remodelling of a 42-mile section of the West Coast Main Line between Hatch End (13 miles north of London) and Hanslope Junction (55 miles north of London).  

The work involved the installation of the new high-speed junctions, removal of old junctions and various remodelling works, togther with the complete resignalling of the new layout for the increased line speeds.
