Balfour Beatty Rail Technologies Limited completed the deployment of an integrated Event Monitoring solution for over 1000 assets in the London Bridge area, including 177 Switches and Points, 526 Track Circuits and 221 Signals. The scope of the works comprised of:
- Provide Event Recorder for Solid Sate Interlockings (SSI)
- Provide Event Recorder for Train Describers
- Provide Front End Analysis and Diagnostic Software for all Event Recorders
- Provide Front End interface to legacy relay interlocking Event Recorders
- Fully configure all software and commission
- Train users and provide system documentation
Balfour Beatty Rail Technologies Limited developed and provided Event Recorders for the SSI and Train Describer systems, which provided a time stamped log of all events within each system.
Our front end software, Asset View, collected data from the new event recorders, plus the existing legacy systems for the relay interlockings, and stored all the information in a standard database format that is available for the users to interrogate.
