Visitors on the Balfour Beatty Rail stand | | | The Elmia Nordic Rail and Future Transport 2007, took place in Jönköping from October 9th to 11th, and was a great success for Balfour Beatty Rail.
Situated in Hall B stand B03:40, our stand set the standard proving that we can offer our customers the rail capabilities which allow us to provide a “Total service from a single source”.
We have recently strengthened our presence in the Nordic market with successful acquisitions of the Nordic signalling operations of Saab Communications and Carillion’s Swedish rail contracting company, which have brought us to further broaden our multi-disciplinary capabilities and to build up our expertise in the rail market.
On our stand we displayed some of our most representative projects as well as a range of innovations from the Balfour Beatty Rail world, available for the Baltic markets, such us:

Elmia Nordic Rail is the most important meeting-place for the Nordic railway industry.
In 2005 the event attracted over 4,000 visitors from 22 countries: buyers, technical designers, engineers and supervisors, as well as business leaders, politicians and other decision makers.
