Working in collaboration with Metronet and LUL, the proven RAMS system has been significantly modernised to include LUL practices and standards whilst providing superior user interface and reporting functionality. The IT networking capability offers the potential for direct interface and downloading from peripheral equipment such as ultrasonics and web based systems upgrades.
Track and office based staff have been fully trained on the system with track engineers inserting local conditions where the defect was found and planners performing trend analysis. Successful results from the technical and operational trial of RAMS on the District Line have led to rollout across LUL with the redundancy of legacy systems.
